Oven Oops:

Description: Solve a pet peeve via physical fabrication and arduino: my pet peeve was my roommate leaving our oven on after cooking. We spent the almost the whole 16 week long semester making our devices to solve our pet peeve. We spend five weeks on each iteration withe the initial 5 weeks of the semester spend learning the basics of circuitry.

Reflection:During each iteration process I learned rapid prototyping as well as the importance of low to high fidelity prototpying. While my final phyiscal prouct may not be as pretty as I would want it due to the time spent upgrading the electrical components, I am still proud of the advancements I made and all I learned. From iteration one to two I was able to gain enough confidence and skill to upgrade from a countdown and buttons to a remote controlled screen with messages and timer as well as a neopixel temperature gauge.

Tools Used: Arduino IDE, Arduino Uno, Instructables
